R.E. Boyd Associates provides services which assist companies in developing and implementing effective management systems. The Company strives to provide the most effective solutions possible by developing alliances with seasoned consultants of other disciplines to maximize function level experience with total corporate effectiveness.
About Our Founder
Prior to starting R.E. Boyd Associates in 1993, Richard Boyd worked twenty-three years in a variety of industries and positions. This background includes experience in the industries of telecommunications, manufacturing, aviation, oil and gas distribution, and water and wastewater management. Management experience gained during this time involved the opportunity to create and manage departments involved in production, quality assurance, publications, advertising, training, testing, and metrology.
Professionally, Richard is associated the Institute of Management Consultants and has served on the board of the local IMC chapter for the last sixteen years; three as the chapter president.
Richard has a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations and a Master of Business Administration, both from MidAmerica Nazarene University. He has been an adjunct professor there for the past thirteen years, teaching several business courses. One of these, a course on the management process and its role in developing and implementing strategy, was developed by Richard from a book he has authored on the topic.
